I had purchased voltas window & split AC's 1.5ton from Amit Electronics Rajinder Bazar Jammu-180001,on .04/06/09 vide their inv.No.3074.As,there is no cooling from these AC's,inspite of our repeated complaints to the dealer and Service Centre M/s Excel services from last more than one month,AC's have not been serviced/repaired so for with the result we have suffered a lot,due to this poor and unsatisfactory service, as AC's have been installed in Hotel. I purchased a Voltas window 1.5 ton AC on 19th april, after the installation the product is not working, it is just switching on and no other function is taking place. I made a complaint at the service center and no body has attended the complaint till now. When I visit the dealer at janak puri better deals, they say you need to make a complaint at the service center.

I have not seen such a feedback from any companies till now. Its the worst service I have ever seen.

Voltas Has very conveniently deleted the customer feed back page http://www.voltasac.com/feedback.aspx from this page - obviously they believe that anything the customer has to say is irrelevant, and the customer is not important and he is must accept the silliness of the service department - an attitude that is displayed mt the person in charge Ms Sudha of the Bombay office - very sad the One cannot expect quality service from a Indian Company

I have purchases a new Voltas Vertis Premium Window AC of 1 ton last month as i have checked it before installation there is a sound of fan of ac at the same moment i have call the Dealer from where I purchased the new ac (m/s Baria Electronics, Talab Tillo Jammu) he advised me that u can installed the ac and inform the service centre about the fault, after apporaching many times the service centre has checked the ac but still there is the same sound of fan. Its a very third class prodcut and the third class service i have ever seen in my life where new acs are faulted and no one is here to provide service

I have a Voltas Vertis Premium 1.5 ton window AC which I had purchased around 3 years back. Suddenly the blower stopped and it did not start again. I registered a complain immediately and was told that the engineer would visit within next 24 working hours. Toady is the 4t day but no one has turned up.When I speak to the service center executive they tell me that they are escalating this mater and will be done soon. A BRAND LIKE VOLTAS IS JUST FOOLING THE CUSTOMERS AND THEY ARE LEAST CONCERNED ABOUT THE END USER' PROBLEM.NO OTHER BRAND CAN MATCH THIS KIND OF LOUSY SERVICE.I WOULD SUGGEST PLS DONT GO FOR A VOLTAS PRODUCT. ITS A WASTE INVESTING UR MONEY IN VOLTAS.

From M/S COOL PALACE,Alumoottil Buildings,K.K.Road,Kottayam,KERALA Pin:686010,I purchased a split ac VOLTAS VERTIS,PREMIUM 1TON,on 3-03-2010.After installation working for about 3 hours,the unit became faulty,no cooling.After repeated reminders,the DEALER(don't know whether he is an authorised one!!!)inspected the unit and found that the pipe leading from the sealed unithas burst open at a bend.He repaired and refilled the unit with fresh gas,and the unit was working for few days,the unit again stopped cooling.On inspection it was seen that the pipe has been burst at another bend.Repaired the same,unit started cooling,making lots of sounds from the indoor unit.Now after a week it is again defective-not cooling.Even after all these repairs,it seems the dealer or his technician has no idea what the REAL PROBLEM IS??????
NOW I AM INITIATING PROCEEDUERS TO START LEGAL HELP FROM THE CONSUMER PROTECTION FORUM IN OUR STATE............
MERA BHARAT MAHAN!!!!!!!

I have read above comments by other Voltas consumers. But I would like to state that till now I have faced no such problem with my Window AC which I bought last year in May and also the service experience has been good. I didn't even have to call the service center, their personnel came of their own and serviced the AC. Even the front filter plastic cover which was broken by installation guy was replaced in one month.

I have purchased a voltas Vertis Plus AC Directly from Luknow Voltas Office as deal was done by the Sales MAnager MR Gaurav Bakshi on 30th April on 2nd may installation was done after several approach till date the AC is not working and getting tripped while compressor get started on 12th of May 2010 at 1.30pm i had made the cmplnt on their toll free no 18004254555 and get a no 10MY1302323 and they replied that your call will attend wihtin 24 working hours ... till date the AC is not working and no one is taking any initiative to resolve the problem....

Voltas's aftersales support for all ACs is one of the worst in the world.
I have requested for AC remote for vertis Premim AC but till get have not received.
My AC is idle for so long time. There is no co-ordination in service for customer satisfaction.

I am admin manager in in a company in Noida and having a load of 125 tons AC out of which 50 Ton is of voltas. This season The AC (( ton ) are creating problem. SErvice ( Air plus) put all kind of efforts and unable to repair and they billed for this Rs. 27,500/- as repair charge which is paid but still not repaired (3 Monts passed). Poor se4rvices.............

Dear Sir, I have purchased Voltas AC (Window) 1.5 Tone Model Vertis Plus (Two Star) from Ashoka Trading Co, Faridabad on 02.04.2010. After one week of purchassing , it was found that there was problem in swing as well as the locks of Gril was broken. After repeated complaints in the Call Centre, Service Centre, No response has been received. One person from Service Centre has visited in the First week of May and assured that he will change the Grill within 2-3 days but till date no body has come.

It is requested that same may please be rectified and Broken gril may kindly be changed.

I agree with all the above comments put up by users against Voltas. I bought a Voltas split 1.0 ton split Gold-i AC on 16-05-2010 and got it installed after 5-6 days. On 24th i logged a call with Voltas to arrange a demo as their manual does not mention anything. Till date I have not received any call or whenever I call their mumbai office, my call sent in loops and the entire thing fizzles out. MY SINCERE ADVICE TO ALL USERS WHO WISH TO BUY AN AC. DO NOT BUY VOLTAS AS THEIR SERVICE IS HORRIBLE.

Sir,
I have purchased two no. Voltas Vertis Premium Split Type ACs, 1no. 1.5 tons & 1 no. 1.00 ton from M/S Vedoms, Dharampeth, Nagpur on 18.06.2009.
On 1.06.2010, the MCB to which the 1.5 tons AC is connected, started getting tripped within 10 ~ 15 minutes of switching ‘on’ the AC. It was functioning satisfactorily over the past one year. The Sr No of the I/D is 4551075P09E005531 & that of O/D is 4511071P09D005780.
I lodged a complaint with M/S Vedoms on 2.06.10. The voltas service man Mr. Gowardhan visited on 4.06.10 (w/o carrying a report book). He measured the current consumption which was 8.5A for first 5 minutes, started rising thereafter for next 5 ~ 7 minutes up to 12.5A causing the MCB to trip. Mr. Gowardhan inspected the MCB & found it to be of 10A rating. He advised me to replace the MCB with the one with 16A or 20A rating, upon which I told him that the normal current consumption is 8.5A & the MCB (Seimens make) has functioned with no problems and that he should investigate the root cause of rising of current after 5 minutes and also that replacing the MCB with higher rating will create the scope for current to rise beyond 12.5A resulting into damage of some part. However, as insisted by him, I replaced the 10A MCB with a 20A MCB on 6.06.10.. The AC functioned for 15 minutes & thereafter the cooling stopped. The BLOWER, TURBO & FAN were operating.
I, again lodged a complaint on 7.06.10 (Complaint no. 10JU0700157 Dt 7.06.10). Mr. Pankaj Jadhav & Mr. Nilesh visited on 8.06.10. They inspected the I/D & O/D & concluded that the cooling is not taking place because the FAN UNIT of the O/D has failed . Accordingly they prepared a report & told me that it will take at least 4 ~ 5 days for the parts to arrive & repairs to take place.
I feel that when the nature of complaint is reported, the service men should come prepared along with the spares & close the call in first visit. Whereas the Voltas service men come without any equipment, just inspect & prepare reports, send them to the company, wait for 3~4 days for the company response & visit again with the parts. It’s very inconvenient for us to postpone our work & wait for the servicemen on 3~4 occasions. The local service stations should have sufficient stock of spares so that the job can be finished in one visit.
I should also get an extension in the warranty period for a no. of days from dt. of lodging the complaint by me & dt of closing the complaint by Voltas.

I am a serving defence officer. I had purchased a voltas AC in Jan 2010 and got it installed on 16 Mar 2010. However not satisfied over its performance I had lodged a complaint on 05 Jun 2010 vide complaint no. 10 JU 0504316. Although I was assured of the complaint being attended within two days, the complaint is yet to be attended. I am totally unhappy over the Poor response of VOLTAS.

My Voltas Vertis Premium A/C has stopped working suddenly last week Wednwsday. I complained to the customer care the next day (thursday) itself and they said the problem would be attended within next 24 hrs. But now it has been one week and no one has turned up. When ever I call them the customer care perople just shamelessly apologize for the mistake and say it will be attended the next day.
I dont know why a company like Voltas (TATA Enterprise) is working in such unprofessional way.

I purchased one voltas A/C 1.5 ton window vertis platina 1 from M/S Pall&Co. 51 -S.C.F,Huda Complex Civil Road, Rohtak [Harayana] wide cash memo no. 19474 on 27 05 2010.The dealer supplied defected A/C with broken grill.This defect was brought to the notice of the said dealer on 28 05 2010.The dealer acknowledged the defect after great persuation and promised to replace the grill within 2-3days.But the promise remained unfulfilled till date.I made the same complaint to voltas service station at Toll free number 1800-425-4555 on 12 06 2010 wide complaint number 10 JU/122733.I was assured that the complaint would be looked into and broken grill would be replaced within 2-3 days.But nothing has been done in the matter in spite of several remainders.
I am sorry to write that the company like Voltas is working in an unprofessional manner & is cheating honest customers by selling defected A/Cs delibrately.

I had purchased a Voltas split AC 1.5ton three years back, since then it has been serviced 3-4 times due to various complaints. Now the AC has developed another complaint & subsequently I had registered a complaint again to its respective dept. but of no avail as expected. The call centre people doesn’t know what to commit, they are always ready with tailor made reply to all queries. I haven’t seen such unprofessionalism towards service & to customer grievance from any other company so far.
In my opinion it’s the worst service I have ever seen.

I am suffering since last week.wasting time in contacting customer care & service dept.It seems to be some major technical problem with the brand or they may be using poor quality parts and fooling the customers...We must approach the Consumer Protection Court for such a cheating...

I have purchased voltas vertis plus window a.c. from CosmicTechnologies Barula market civil lines Aligarh on Augest 6th 2009.The remote was not working and a.c.also was not working properly .I complained to the dealer,he took the remote ,on reminding several time he bring a remote after along timeIf, on checking that was also not working .He took back the remote about a month before.Iam facing much difficulty .I am unable to understand how the companey like Voltas is having so inefficient staff that is bringing the reputation of the companey down and officers are not taking any responce.Iam feeling myself guilty to purchased the a.c.from such a worst companey.If I do not get correct remote and a.c. is repaired within one week Iwill approach the Consumer Protection court.

I just bought a cooler by the name of an AC.it is Voltas vertis platina 1.5ton which they claim to be the best in class.Since the day i bought it,it is not running properly .its compressor shuts off automatically after 10 min.I complained at least 5 times and some technician did came but could'nt solve the problem.They said the sensor is not working and it is not in stock..after repeated complain they changed the wire but problem still persist.My complaint No. was 10ju2302672.Im so fed up that i ve planned to throw this scrap and buy another from hitachi or ogeneral

My name is V.Usha R/o C-3/6 Rail vihar, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad-201 012. I have purchased an window A/C having a capacity of 1.5 ton on 08/04/2007 keeping in mind of belief that the renowned company "Voltas" will take of customer care in all aspects. But when my A/C become faulty I tried to contact the service station/offices which is mentioned in the last page of Operation Manual By the phone nos.27063344, 2754998 & 4747117 mentioned in Ghaziabad area, and New Delhi area 011-55505550. But nobody was lifting the telephone nos. But finally after 2 days of sufferings (humiliated) as advise by one of my neighbour i find out this website made a complaint in customer care no. 18004254555 asking them to give the correct service center. but they say as per their record they are having a detail only the name of service provider only as "Mudhukul". when i asked about the address & phone nos of madhukul the person who took the phone simply denied that as per their record they are having only the name as madhukul nothing more than that. According to that person the complaint will be attended within 72 hours. I am very sorry to say that much great service rendered to me like a renowned company like voltas. Eagerly awaiting your service.

I had purchased voltas vertis premium split A/C 1.5 ton from M/s city electrovision,Patiala vide invoice no.568 dated 19.03.2010. As their no cooling from dis A/C inspite our repeated complaints to th dealer from last 6 mnths.A/C have not been serviced/repaired so far with the result we have suffered a lot due to dis poor and unsatisfactory service. My complain no is- 11MY0408623. I am calling on helpline no from 4th of may, 2011 and till date i have no response.. I am fed up calling people and every time i call they tell" we wil come" but reality is they never turn up.. i am real fed up of these voltas people..Technician came to my house on 10th may and he was not even having screw driver..and he told will come tomoorow... but he never turned up..Then i caled Chawla refrigeration- 863/4 G.T Road shadhra, phone no- 011 22321786.he also said ok ll send tomorrow.. but no body came..i am dying in bad summers.. kindly tell whom to blame.. my kid and wife are dying in bad summer.. whole day i work out and at night i cant even sleep.. bc my ac service is not happening..Warenty period of my ac is getting over on 23 rd may ,2011.Today i have spoken with mr mann- 8860913410, he is voltas guy and he spoke with me so rudely as if i am his servant..

My Complaints No. 11My1604834 dated 16.5.11 and 11My1807517 dated 18.5.11. for Not Working AC's

I had purchased voltas Vertis PLus S AC's 1.5ton from Sanjay Electroniks Shop No. 25 , Tikona Park Market Faridabad Haryana 121001 for Rs. 23650 on .24/05/10 vide their inv.No.1948 .As,there is no cooling from these AC's,inspite of our repeated complaints to the dealer and Service Centre Complaints No. 11My1604834 dated 16.5.11 and 11May1807517 dated 18.5.11 from last more than one month,AC's have not been working so for with the result we have suffered our work .

Therefore I requewt to you Please finalize the matter as soon as posible

I recently purchased Voltaz 1.00T Split AC Vertis Gold 5 Star Sr. No. 4511081M10L001033 from Authorised Dealer in Udaipur and got installed from them. The So Called 5 Star AC is having some Manufacturing Defect or faulty workmanship and is not capable to cool my Drawing Room. I lodged complaint with the Authorised Dealer on 16 May 2011. Some Voltas guy (Rakesh) visited. He said there is some leakage of gas, and he will visit tomorrow.
Everybody knows that to morrow never comes. So He didn't turn up despite follow up by the Dealer. We think Voltas guy is waiting summer to pass, when we will not be in need of the AC.

I V. Usha R/o C-3/6 Rail Vihar Indirapuram Ghaziabad-2012 012 further to my comment posted on 16/05/2011 the Madhu cool centre people came here and took my A/C on 20/5/2011 giving the commitment that my A/C will be repaired within 3 days with a total expenditure of Rs.2100/- and took me 300 rupees as an advance. But after 8 days when i rang up to madhu coll one fellow said your motor is faulty pcb is faulty and for for gas filling total Rs.4600/- rupees. When i asked while taking my A/C from my premises the fan was running. if the motor is faulty how can the fan runs. Then he realized his manipulations and remain silent. For the last 15 days i am complaining in the customer help line No.18004254555. Everyday they used to commit that this will be settled our technician will visit you. But the madhu cool fellow says that i must pay the charges by advance cheque then only my A/C will be repaired.
My question was even after 25 days they are not honoring their commitment. How can i believe even after paying the advance cheque they will bring my A/c duly repaired well in time. Is there any rule in voltas that customer should pay the repair charges in advance cheque. if it is so please send me the request to me by giving the date of commitment to deliver duly repaired. The company like voltas is humiliating the customers giving too much trouble for the last 25 days. The beauty is nobody is taking the responsibility. Please refer to my last month complaint reading as under :

The company service provider people repaired the AC but it worked for 4-5 sittings in the room.
Again it is the case of Gas Leakage and AC is not working at all.

Voltas Air Conditioner

Dear Sir,

I purchased Voltas three star split aircondition in August 2010 from Amba Air Cool, Janakpuri, New Delhi. I called for second free services of my AC with complaint no. 11JL2401961 dated 24.07.2010.

The technicians came on 25.7.11 he appears to be ignorant of AC maintained. He initially said that remote control and PCB are not working and therefore he needs to open them and take them with him. However, when he opens the instrument he said, these are working but some internal wiring got damaged.

Internally wiring apparently got damaged because of improper installation of AC which was done by your authorized agency. He might have left hole in the walls to let the rates in.

I have hardly run AC for 5 hrs within the entire year. It is requested that the AC should be back in order without any cost to me.

This year I was decided to buy the split AC. So I started my analysis From January onwards and came to the conclusion March 1st week. Over this 9 weeks, I was visited almost all type of dealer which is available in Tamil Nadu. Finally I decided to buy the Voltas brand. So I purchased VOLTAS 1.5 Ton,5 Star Split AC (150VERTISGOLDIEVAPORTINDT (G5L) Indoor Unit: (4551135G10F035337) Outdoor Unit: (4511152A10K030229) on 09/03/2011 from Tambaram saravana stores and it was installed successfully on next day by Voltas authorization technician. One day suddenly the AC was working but cooling fails, Still I believe the Voltas so that I register the issue on 08/09/2011(call no:11SP0800251) (Customer Id:C2424865) and next day service person cascade the issue and find the cause(Leaf worn out). Same day he taken the Leaf and He said this is the common design issue in this model, I will replace the part in next 3 days (Tuesday (13/09/2011)). But I requested to him, Replace the leaf on or before Monday (12/09/2011) and he also agreed. After that
